Louisa Bartlett
Louisa is a primate keeper at Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park in North Devon. The park has just received a group of five Barbary macaques from AAP Primadomus; three of these were rescued from appalling conditions as pets, and one was found wandering around a city in Spain. Louisa is passionate about all aspects of primate conservation and, having fallen in love with the park’s group of Barbary macaques already, she can’t wait to get involved in their conservation by helping raise awareness and funds to support them in the wild.

Kim Cartwright
Kim Cartwright is a zookeeper at Folly Farm in Wales and works with a variety of different animals, including the 3 rescued Barbary macaques who were found living in appalling conditions as youngsters. As a result they unfortunately suffer from mental health problems. Kim has taken on the challenge of training these monkeys, in particular the male, Libu, to help stimulate their minds as well as making their daily husbandry easier. Kim has always been interested in primates but since working with the Barbary macaques it has emphasised her love for them and sparked a greater interest in large monkeys.
